More about Jenelle
My passion in therapy is to partner with my clients to create a trusting relationship that can foster healing, personal growth, and positive life change. I approach therapy from a relational model allowing the counseling relationship to be a healing vessel for the therapeutic process.
My treatment modality influences and therapeutic approaches include DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Hypnotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Insight Oriented Therapy, as well as trauma-informed and somatic/body-based therapies.
My goal in counseling is to facilitate a supportive and nurturing process which allows you to grow and heal within a safe relationship while also being challenged in meaningful ways. I believe in creating a healing relationship and taking a collaborative approach in therapy so that together we find a path for your healing. I provide my clients with resources and tools to utilize and practice between each appointment so the therapeutic process extends beyond your individual counseling sessions.
I offer individual and relationship counseling to adults and am accepting new clients at this time who reside in Washington State. All sessions are held virtually through telemedicine (video) and telephone. I use confidential, HIPAA-compliant video software for online sessions. Sessions can easily be accessed through phones, tablets, and computers.
I currently do not accept insurance but I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company who may be able to reimburse you for your counseling sessions. I am happy to discuss this option with you further during a free consultation.
If you are interested in scheduling a free consultation with me or would like more information about my services, please send me a message or visit my website at www.philoscounseling.com.
